About ecomm.lk
ecomm.lk is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product that allows individuals and organizations to design, build, and manage stores. We provide the software infrastructure necessary to manage such stores.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to create an account. You confirm that the information you provide is true and correct.
Your Account
You are responsible for the security of your account and its secrets, for example, your password and any verification information. You agree that you will provide accurate registration information, keep your login information safe, report any unauthorized use of your account, and be fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may cancel your account at any time.
Subscription
ecomm.lk offers Free and Paid subscription plans. Each plan has its own features, limitations, and payment terms. The subscription plans are described in detail on the Pricing page, which is subject to change at any time at the company's sole discretion. If you fail to make a payment for a subscription, your store may be suspended until the payment is received.
Store Content
You are solely responsible for any content you post or store on the platform, including products, images, descriptions, prices, logos, videos, and any messages sent via our services. You confirm that you have the appropriate rights to post all content to the platform.
Prohibited Acts
You agree not to use our services for any illegal or inappropriate purpose, including, but not limited to: selling any illegal or prohibited products or services, violating any local or foreign laws or regulations, infringing on any rights of a third party or intellectual property laws, uploading or installing viruses or other abusive files on the platform, attempting to hack or interfere with the security or integrity of the platform or third-party services, setting up fake stores or profiles, or misrepresenting your identity or the identity of third parties, sending spam, or engaging in other abusive behavior. We reserve the right to terminate accounts for prohibited activities on a case-by-case basis.
Orders & Payments
Please note that ecomm.lk only provides the technology infrastructure for merchants. Merchants are entirely responsible for the quality of their products, pricing, inventory management, delivery, customer service, order processing, cancellations, taxes, and legal compliance. You are your own seller on ecomm.lk unless otherwise stated.
Payment Gateways
The platform may connect to one or more payment gateway services. By using a payment gateway, you agree to be bound by their terms, conditions, and policies. The payment gateway is responsible for processing all payments, authorizations, cancellations, disputes, and other related operations. ecomm.lk is not responsible for the availability or performance of payment gateways and is not liable for any issues related to the payment gateway services.
Platform Availability
This Terms & Conditions does not provide any guarantee of the continuous or uninterrupted functioning of the platform. We strive to ensure that our services are constantly available, but we cannot guarantee the absence of downtime or errors. There may be interruptions due to scheduled maintenance, software or hardware failures, or other unforeseen events.
Privacy, Intellectual Property, and Ownership
The design, source code, trademarks, logos, and other elements of the platform belong to ecomm.lk, unless otherwise stated. You are not allowed to copy, modify, distribute, decompile, or reproduce any part of the platform without the prior written consent of ecomm.lk.
Data, Backups, and Losses
You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for maintaining and backing up your data. We strongly recommend that you make regular backups of all critical information that is stored on our platform. We reserve the right to delete, terminate, or disable accounts due to any reason at our sole discretion. We cannot be held liable for the loss of any data stored on our platform.
Account Suspension and Termination
The company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform if you violate these Terms & Conditions, engage in any fraudulent activity, abuse the platform, or if any other factors at the company's sole discretion. You also agree to terminate your account at any time.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to lost revenues, profits, or business interruption.
Third-Party Services
This Terms & Conditions applies only to services provided by ecomm.lk and does not cover any third-party services. The company is not responsible for the performance, availability, or security of third-party services.
Changes to this Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, unless otherwise provided by applicable law.
